It is quite common in Kollywood to ride on a successful pattern, a few years ago many movies were carrying titles in alien languages, and TN Govt passed an order which made the movie makers rethink the titles once again in Tamil.

Aishwarya Dhanush`s 3` started the single letter trend, and Shaam`s highly acclaimed movie had 6` as its title. There were some small budget movies released under the title Voo`, Kaa`, and the recent talk of the town, Shankar`s magnum opus is also a single letter title AI`.

Now there`s a new movie which is under production carries its title as Ru`. Debutante Sadasivam is directing the flick, featuring Irfan, who started his career in Sundattam`. While explaining about the title, director says, Ru` means number 5 in Tamil, and the movie features 5 villains. The story is all about how the hero saves the society from all the 5 villains in 5 different ways. Well, that`s an interesting title indeed. Hope the movie is also as interesting as its title.
